School social work and youth club work in Temnitz
We are looking for a 62.5% full-time (25 hours) socio-educational specialist for social work at the elementary school and mobile youth work in Wildberg (Amt Temnitz) at the earliest possible date. The Temnitz district comprises several rural communities and villages just outside the district town of Neuruppin. The region has a high quality of life thanks to a beautiful landscape, a wide range of cultural and educational opportunities and diverse shopping facilities. We are centrally located between Berlin, Hamburg and the Baltic Sea. ESTAruppin e.V. is a charitable organization in the district of Ostprignitz-Ruppin with a focus on children and youth work as well as work with refugees. Our association currently employs around 100 people.
Your tasks:
Establishing and maintaining a sustainable relationship with children, young people and their caregivers on site
20 hours per week: school social work with the elements of youth counseling and parent discussions; socio-pedagogical group work, e.g. in the area of prevention; support for open offers and breaks; coordination of procedures with teachers and school management
5 hours per week: running an open youth club once a week; initiating and supporting one-off events and youth cultural activities, also across social areas; supporting volunteers and interns
Coordination of the activity.
